When will the nonprofit see the donation?
Nonprofit admins are usually able to see a donation in their admin dashboard before it has finished processing or is available for disbursement.
Please note that processing time is different from disbursement time. A donation must finish processing before the nonprofit receives the funds. See What do donation statuses mean in my nonprofit dashboard?
Once the donation status updates to Available, the nonprofit admin will receive an email notification.
Why do some donations take longer?
Some donations require extra steps before they can be completed.
For example:
- Bank donations must clear through ACH.
- Stock must be transferred, received, liquidated, and matched to the donor’s pledge.
- DAF donations depend on the DAF provider sending the funds.
- Matching donations depend on the employer or matching gift provider and may require additional confirmation.
- Some donations may require payment verification or additional due diligence.
What should you do if a donation is still processing?
Please allow the full processing time listed for the payment method.
If the donation has not been updated after the expected processing window, contact Every.org Support.
