If you are a fiscally sponsored organization, please see this section towards the bottom of this article. Every.org disburses funds on a regular schedule which varies depending on your disbursement method. We currently offer three disbursement methods to deliver funds to your organization:
Disbursement method | Frequency | Fee |
Stripe (recommended) | Weekly | 0% |
PayPal Grants | Monthly (for balances >$100) | 0% |
Network for Good | Every 4-6 weeks (for balances >$10) | 2.25% |
Stripe (recommended)
What is Stripe?
Stripe is a global leader in internet payments trusted by millions of companies, and they are certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. We use Stripe to process certain donations and one of their products, Stripe Connect, to disburse funds to nonprofits safely and securely. Every.org does not store your bank account information—the verification and information is securely stored by Stripe.
We use their product Stripe Connect for a seamless payment experience from our platform straight to your nonprofit’s bank account. Stripe Connect facilitates a faster transfer of funds on agreed dates.
Why does Stripe ask for so much information?
You can learn more about this from Stripe's support article here: Business Rep/Owner Tax ID requirements for US Companies.

Know Your Customer Obligations through Stripe
To receive funds as quickly as possible with no disbursement fee, we strongly recommend securely connecting a bank account through Stripe. Stripe disbursements occur weekly on Mondays, which is when the funds will land in your Stripe account, and you may also manually request a payout if you need funds sooner by contacting us.
You must be an admin for your organization's profile in order to connect a Stripe account. To connect a bank account, please visit your organization's admin dashboard > settings > add bank. If you already have a Stripe account, you may create a subaccount with your existing login details and do not need to create a new Stripe account. If you do not have a Stripe account you will be asked to create one.
After Stripe has verified your information and we have approved your connection, you will receive a notification that your bank account has been successfully connected. Please allow 1-2 business days for our team to review and approve your Stripe connection.
You can set automatic payouts from Stripe to your bank account by changing your Stripe "Payout schedule" settings here, where you can set an "Automatic" schedule for daily, weekly, or monthly lump-sum payouts to your bank account. If you want to do it manually, select "Manual".
If you have any issues with connecting your Stripe account, please contact Stripe customer support.
Where is my Stripe disbursement? I don't see any funds
Please visit your Stripe dashboard and click the down arrow at the top left to navigate to your subaccount for Every.org. You should find your payout information here. If you still can't find what you're looking for, please contact us.
PayPal Grants
What is PayPal Grants?
PayPal Grants is a PayPal product that partners with grantmakers, such as significant donor-advised funds and community foundations, to deliver grants to charities directly to their PayPal account.
If you have not connected a bank account, we will attempt to disburse funds to you through PayPal Grants, which also incurs no disbursement fee.
If your organization is eligible for PayPal Grants because you have registered with PayPal as a valid nonprofit, we will disburse your first donation, regardless of size, within 1 month. Afterward, we recommend that you connect a Stripe account for weekly disbursements to your bank account. If you choose not to connect a Stripe account, funds will continue to be disbursed monthly if your organization has an available balance of $100 or more, or every 6 months for balances under $100. This allows you to choose the method that works best for you while minimizing the disbursement fees covered by Every.org.
Please note that when we send a PayPal Grants disbursement, you will receive a notification e-mail from PayPal where you can review the grant information and then accept or decline it. The funds will not be delivered if you do not accept the grant, and they will be returned to us when the grant expires so that we can try to disburse to you again.
My PayPal Grants grant expired, what do I do?
Please contact us and we'll be happy to reissue the grant for you.
Network for Good
What is Network for Good?
Network for Good is a 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a technology-enabled donor advised fund which enables donors to raise and direct funds to their favorite charities. We use their technology as one of our disbursement methods so that we can support as many charities as possible.
How does Network for Good know to send us funds?
Network for Good relies on the nonprofit database GuideStar to check whether your organization is open to third-party donations, and for your mailing address for check disbursements. If you want to receive disbursements through Network for Good, please check that you are opted in to third-party donations and that your mailing address is up-to-date.
How do I know which donations disbursed through Network for Good came from Every.org?
The money sent through Network for Good is the total sum across all of their various platforms and partners, including Facebook Fundraisers. To find donations that came from Every.org specifically, head to your Network for Good dashboard. The donations from Every.org will have the “Source”/”Account Name” as “Every.org”. You can export the full data set to filter for reporting purposes.
We also recommend that you claim your organization's Every.org nonprofit profile so that you can see more donor and donation details on your admin dashboard.
If you do not connect a Stripe account and you are not a PayPal verified charity, we will disburse to you through Network for Good, who will send you a check or direct deposit based on the information they have on file. By default when sending checks, they will reference GuideStar for your organization's address.
At the end of each month, we batch donations made to your organization and send them to Network for Good, who sends the payments on the 15th of the following month, so it can take between 4-6 weeks for donations to reach you this way. The donation will reach you faster if you have direct deposit set up with Network for Good.
Your organization must have a balance exceeding $10.00 for disbursement through Network for Good. If we have less than the minimum available, we will wait until other donations are made to meet the minimum before issuing a disbursement.
As of this writing, Network for Good charges a 2.25% fee for disbursements, which will be deducted from your total. Every.org currently covers this fee for donations made with bank accounts through the online donate flow.
Fiscally sponsored organizations
Please note that if you are a fiscally sponsored organization, funds will be disbursed to your fiscal sponsor through the method they have established. If you aren't yet set up on Every.org, we kindly ask that your fiscal sponsor connects their bank account. When signing up, they will be able to add a statement descriptor to indicate that the money is for your organization.
If they do not connect an account, then the disbursement will be made via PayPal Grants or Network for Good with a Dedication with your organization's name.
To learn more about delivery of funds after we disburse to your fiscal sponsor, we suggest contacting your fiscal sponsor representative.
How can we disable disbursements from Every.org?
If your nonprofit is not interested in receiving disbursements from Every.org, please contact us to request that we disable your nonprofit's profile. We also suggest that you opt-out of third-party donations on GuideStar to prevent other third-party donation platforms from fundraising for your organization.
