Connect a Bank Account for Direct Deposit
This is the recommended way to receive money faster and for free, eliminating the disbursement fees charged by our disbursement partner on donations and receive disbursements quickly and on a weekly basis.
We connect bank accounts securely using Stripe, a PCI-certified payments processor trusted by millions of companies. Every.org doesn't store your bank account information—the verification and information is handled by Stripe. There is no fee for disbursements through Stripe and it also expedites the disbursement process so you can receive funds sooner.
After connecting a bank account, your organization will receive disbursements on Mondays without any disbursement fees. You can also manually request a payout as often to ensure you receive funds sooner by emailing support@every.org.
To connect a bank account, please go to your nonprofit's Admin Dashboard > Settings > Add Bank.
If you don't have an admin account, you can visit https://www.every.org/{YOUR-NONPROFIT}/stripe and click the “Go to Stripe” button, then follow the instructions to connect your account.
Make sure to create or connect a Stripe account under an official email address and bank account under your organization's name. After verification, you will receive a notification that your bank account has been successfully connected.
Network for Good (NFG)
If you do nothing, we will try to send money through our disbursement partner Network for Good who charges a disbursement fee of 2.25%, though currently Every.org covers this fee for all donations made with a bank account through the online donation flow.
It can take around 1~8 weeks for the donation to reach you depending on whether they can send you funds electronically or have to mail a check in the mail. We aggregate donations at the end of each month, who sends the payments on the 15th of the following month. The donation will reach you faster if you have direct deposit set up with Network for Good.
NFG relies on the nonprofit database GuideStar to check whether your organization is open to third-party donations and for your mailing address. If you want to receive disbursements through NFG, please check that you are opted in to third-party donations and that your mailing address is up-to-date.
The minimum disbursement is $10 USD through NFG. If we have less than the minimum for a nonprofit, Every.org will wait until other donations are made to meet the minimum disbursement amount before disbursing the funds.
The money sent through Network for Good is the total sum across all of their various platforms and partners, including Facebook Fundraisers. To find donations that came from Every.org specifically, head to your Network for Good dashboard, the donations will have the “Source”/”Account Name” as “Every.org”. You can also export the full data set to filter for reporting purposes.
Fiscally Sponsored Projects
If you're fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) public charity, we will need your fiscal sponsor to connect their bank account.
Please ask your fiscal sponsor to complete the flow above, or do so yourself using your fiscal sponsor’s bank account information, name, and address. When signing up, they/you will be able to add a statement descriptor to indicate that the money is for your organization.
If you don't connect an account, the disbursement will be made via Network for Good with a Dedication with your organization's name.
Please arrange with your fiscal sponsor how the money will be then transferred to you.
Disable Disbursements
If your nonprofit is not interested in receiving disbursements from Every.org, please reach out to our team at nonprofits@every.org to request that we disable your nonprofit's profile. We also suggest that you opt-out of third-party donations on GuideStar to request other third-party donation platforms from fundraising for your organization.
