We don't charge any platform fees for nonprofits. Every.org's operating expenses are funded by generous philanthropists who believe in our vision of a world where everyone has the best technology to help them do more good.
However, we do incur the current network fee (usually between several cents and $10 depending on the currency used and network congestion) for the cryptocurrency when we transfer a donation to our crypto broker to sell the assets, and our broker charges us a fee of 1%.
Donors are able to contact us at crypto@every.org for large donations worth over $100,000 so that we can use Coinbase to do the conversion to benefit from lower fees, usually under 0.5%.
If you have signed up for direct deposit on Every.org, there will never be a disbursement fee. For donations over $10,000, if you haven't already connected a bank account, we will reach out to you directly to ensure that we disburse your donation in the most efficient way possible.
